Asset Management Optimisation Manager


Location: Flexible within the UK, with regular presence at major manufacturing sites

A leading UK industrial organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced Asset Management Optimisation Manager to drive reliability, asset integrity and maintenance excellence across a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.


Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this senior leadership role will take responsibility for the development and deployment of asset management and maintenance strategies across the organisation. Working closely with engineering and operational leaders, you will help ensure consistent standards, promote best practice and support continuous improvement in asset performance.


The role will involve analysing and improving maintenance and asset management processes to enhance reliability and operational performance. You will support the implementation of modern maintenance methodologies, including preventive and condition-based maintenance, while ensuring asset integrity policies support safe and reliable operations. Acting as a subject matter expert in key areas of asset management, you will help define processes, performance metrics and best practice while promoting knowledge sharing across engineering teams.


Applicants will be degree qualified in an engineering discipline and will bring significant experience in maintenance engineering and asset management within a heavy industrial or complex manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of asset management systems aligned with ISO 55000 is expected, alongside the ability to assess and improve maintenance processes. You will be a credible and effective communicator, capable of working across multiple organisational levels and influencing senior stakeholders.
