Are you an ambitious Residential Property Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is expanding their Residential Property team in Oxford and welcomes applications from candidates at Associate to Senior Associate level.
About the Role:
This position requires you to work from the office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional day) following a successful probation period. You will be an integral part of a team that handles various conveyancing matters, catering to clients from first-time buyers to corporate clients with extensive property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of property transactions, ensuring effective handling of cases from start to finish.
- Build credibility and foster strong relationships with clients by managing their expectations regarding options, outcomes, risks, and timelines.
- Oversee a variety of transactional projects and matters, demonstrating your expertise and market knowledge.
- Scope fees for existing clients and contribute to the firm's revenue.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the team, promoting a culture of risk awareness.
- Expand your internal and external networks, connecting with clients, intermediaries, and industry contacts.
- Support junior team members by providing technical, business, and general advice.
- Maintain accurate time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing practises.
- Achieve personal and team KPIs, actively measuring performance against these metrics.
- Align your personal objectives with the department's strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor, licenced Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with the necessary experience to excel in this role.
- Solid background in Residential Property law.
- Proven ability to manage your own files and effectively delegate tasks.
- Strong client management skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
