Job Title: Management Accountant Location: Lichfield Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities:
Join our dynamic team as a Management Accountant, where you will be instrumental in supporting our financial controller with insightful financial analysis and robust controls. Your key responsibilities will include:
Management Reporting:
- Prepare precise and timely monthly management accounts.
- Ensure balance sheet accuracy through monthly reviews.
- Deliver monthly job costing analysis for our commercial teams.
- Assist the business partner in maintaining dashboards to track KPIs.
ERP System & Process Improvement:
- Enhance and optimise our COINs system.
- Identify and implement process improvements for better financial reporting efficiency.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects, including COINs integration solutions.
Business Partnering:
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to address operational challenges, especially regarding intercompany transactions.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in creating annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide insightful commentary on variances.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
- Oversee the audit process for our subsidiary, ensuring financial data integrity.
- Aid in preparing year-end statutory accounts.
Key Skills & Experience:
- We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with:
- Relevant management accounting experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, analytical approach.
- Proven track record in producing management accounts and financial analyses.
- Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably COINs.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
