Are you highly detail‑oriented with a knack for untangling financial data? Our client, a respected organisation in the private healthcare sector, is looking for a Reconciliations Clerk to join them on a temporary 3-6 month assignment. They support both children and adults with complex needs and are now seeking someone who can help bring clarity and accuracy to their financial transactions.
The role
You'll be responsible for reconciling 18 months' worth of historical transactions across multiple bank accounts. This includes reviewing, coding, and correctly allocating backlog activity where transactions have not been properly processed.
This is a hands‑on, high‑volume role that requires precision, persistence, and a strong analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile and allocate 18 months of bank transactions
- Review and correct historic coding discrepancies
- Work across several bank accounts with complex transaction histories
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data
- Collaborate with internal finance teams where needed
Experience & Skills Required
- Strong experience in bank reconciliations and transaction‑heavy environments
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable handling high‑volume data churn
- Prior experience with:
- Sage 50
- X‑Ledger
- Barclays.net
- Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently
