Client Implementation & Onboarding
Location: Flexible / Hybrid Type: 12 Month Contract Location: Chester
We are working with a leading financial institution who are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Implementation & Onboarding Specialist to oversee the end-to-end delivery of client onboarding and implementation across a suite of cash management and treasury solutions.
This is a highly client-facing role requiring strong project management skills, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client implementations end-to-end, ensuring a smooth and timely onboarding experience
- Partner closely with clients to agree delivery timelines, provide regular status updates, identify risks, and resolve issues efficiently
- Deliver a professional, tailored service to meet varying client needs, applying structured project management approaches for larger or more complex implementations
- Lead and manage conference calls with clients and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate all required KYC, compliance, and legal documentation to support client onboarding
- Keep all stakeholders informed of onboarding progress, escalating risks or issues where appropriate
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage dependencies and influence outcomes to meet strict client deadlines
- Complete relevant product and service setups within internal systems
- Maintain accurate audit trails by logging all documentation and communications within a central repository
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a client-facing or client engagement role
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with differing timelines and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing client expectations
Skills That Will Help You Succeed
- A strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving
- Prior experience within financial services, banking, or investment banking is advantageous
- A broad understanding of cash management and treasury products is a plus
