We are looking for a highly capable AI Business Analyst with strong project delivery experience and a passion for innovation. You will help identify, design, and support the delivery of AI and automation solutions, taking ideas from concept to prototype and into production.
This hybrid role requires strong Agile/Scrum expertise, user‑centric design skills, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity, operational risk, and AI‑related regulations such as the EU AI Act and FCA guidance.
What You'll Do
AI Use Case Discovery
- Partner with teams across Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to uncover high‑value AI opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Manage epics, user stories, and product backlogs in Jira or Azure DevOps.
Agile Delivery
- Serve as an embedded BA within Agile squads.
- Support sprint planning, prioritisation, retrospectives, and Agile ceremonies.
- Track progress, manage timelines, and align delivery with business and compliance requirements.
UX & AI Application Design
- Collaborate on wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys using tools like Figma or Balsamiq.
- Apply UX best practices to ensure AI solutions are intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy.
Risk, Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance
- Work with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to embed secure‑by‑design and privacy‑by‑design principles.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including the EU AI Act and FCA/PRA guidance.
- Produce documentation and audit trails to support internal and external reviews.
Innovation, Prototyping & PoCs
- Lead or support the delivery of AI PoCs, pilots, and rapid prototyping sprints.
- Test hypotheses quickly and iterate based on feasibility and feedback.
- Help scale successful solutions into production environments.
Research & Thought Leadership
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools (Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.) and responsible AI frameworks.
- Educate stakeholders on opportunities and limitations of GenAI.
- Contribute to internal AI governance and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
What You Bring
- Experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, ideally within digital or AI transformation.
- Understanding of banking domains such as Front Office Sales, KYC, Credit, Settlement, or Risk.
- Hands‑on Agile delivery experience (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Successful track record delivering AI/GenAI pilots or PoCs.
- Familiarity with UX best practices and tools (Figma, Balsamiq).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and risk control frameworks.
- Understanding of AI regulatory expectations including the EU AI Act and FCA/PRA guidance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
