Location: London (Hybrid)


Salary: £65,000


Reports to: Team Manager


Our client is a leading global investment management firm, renowned for providing innovative and tailored investment solutions to clients. They are recruiting for an Investment Writer role, which focuses on creating compelling, competitive proposals for business development in a custom investment solutions division. The writer will work with teams across multiple business areas to produce tailored content for RFPs, RFIs, and client proposals, ensuring high-quality, persuasive materials that highlight the firm's value proposition. The ideal candidate will have an Investment Management or Investment Consulting background. Prior experience in content writing or RFP roles is not required, but candidates should have strong writing capability..


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the proposal process from start to finish.
  • Gather data from various sources to support proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal experts across multiple departments.
  • Edit and refine responses to ensure quality and clarity.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, particularly with financial figures and grammar.
  • Organise and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Liaise with stakeholders in sales, strategy, legal, risk, and other teams to gather input and ensure alignment.

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in English, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in investment writing or commercial roles in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of asset management and the UK Pension Fund industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of financial concepts and investments is essential.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., Qvidian) is a plus.
