Legal Counsel (Commercial/IP)
Location: Central London (Hybrid, 2 days a week office based)
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (DOE) plus bonus and benefits
We have been exclusively instructed on a new Legal Counsel opportunity with an international entertainment provider based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Agreements: Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts, including advertising, e-commerce, publishing, and production agreements.
- Intellectual Property: Manage IP matters, including trademark and copyright licensing, ensuring protection and compliance.
- Data Protection: Provide guidance on general data protection issues, assisting the team in navigating relevant compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- UK or common law-qualified solicitor with 5 years PQE+.
- Solid background in general commercial agreements and intellectual property matters.
- Experience in sectors such as media, retail, FMCG, publishing, or technology is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
