Our client is seeking a Global Revenue Accountant to join their dynamic team on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements while managing complex revenue recognition processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Record revenue in line with IFRS standards, reviewing customer POs, Statements of Work, Master Purchasing Agreements, and Terms & Conditions.
  • Support US revenue accounting while demonstrating flexibility to engage in global revenue recognition.
  • Document current processes and controls, ensuring accurate monthly journal entries for revenue and transfer costs, as well as account reconciliations.
  • Upload financial data to the corporate consolidation system and prepare management reports using advanced Excel skills (pivots, v-lookups).
  • Maintain revenue amortisation schedules, conduct purchase price variance and provision analyses.

Salary - £60K to £70K pa


Hybrid working - 2 days office per week


Job Requirements:


  • Qualified Accountant (QBE's will also be considered)
  • Recent hands on experience in revenue accounting
  • Knowledge of IFRS 15 and multi-element revenue arrangements.
  • Experience in process mapping and enhancement, preferably within a shared services or outsourcing environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and effective oral/written presentation capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, able to grasp complex transactions quickly.
  • A collaborative team player committed to meeting tight deadlines.
