Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their dynamic conveyancing team. If you are a qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or legal executive with a passion for residential conveyancing, this is the perfect opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds, from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive legal advice to clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction process.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of progress and address any concerns.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other third parties to ensure all parties are updated and informed.
  • draught and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents relevant to the conveyancing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current legislation.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of file management in line with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the conveyancing process using sound judgement and legal expertise.
  • Collaborate with other members of the conveyancing team, providing guidance and fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Stay current with developments in relevant laws and regulations to ensure best practises.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and grow the firm's conveyancing practise.

Requirements:


  • Qualified Solicitor, licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate legal matters clearly and understandably.
  • Proficient in case management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of accuracy in document preparation and file management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong commitment to client care, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
