LHH Recruitment Solutions are currently working with an ambitious, fast-growing private equity-backed business in Sussex in seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join its high performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to make a tangible impact in a high-growth environment, working closely with operational leaders to drive performance and efficiency.


About the Role


As Finance Business Partner you'll play a key role in delivering insight into operational performance, driving commercial benefits, and supporting systemisation and process improvements. You'll be instrumental in budgeting, forecasting, and providing analytical support across key areas such as stock, cost of sales, and operational overheads.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead budgeting and reforecasting for operational areas
  • Deliver monthly KPI and gross margin analysis, including COS Price Volume Mix
  • Partner with operational leadership to optimise performance and prove results
  • Enhance and develop KPIs to drive operational insight
  • Leverage tools like Power BI, Prophix, and SPSS to improve reporting and analytics
  • Support integration of newly acquired businesses
  • Contribute to board pack commentaries and strategic initiative tracking
  • Assist in ERP and data tool integration

Key skills / experience:


  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience working with large datasets to drive commercial insight
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Exposure to FP&A or financial modelling tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with being a self-starter with a progressive career mindset

The role will be office based 3 days a week with a salary up to £75k plus bonus and benefits.
