Company Accountant - Remote with UK Travel

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow.
• Prepare VAT returns and coordinate payroll with HR and external providers.
• Handle cost accounting for manufactured products, including variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Support revenue recognition and maintain accurate capital expenditure records.
• Assist with audits, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.
• Work with ERP systems and help enhance financial systems and controls.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in accounting, ideally in manufacturing or similar sectors.
• Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification or working towards one.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting.
• ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with VAT and payroll processes.
• Exposure to US/international accounting practices is a plus.
