Interim Legal Counsel

We are working with a leading investment management business seeking an experienced Interim Legal Counsel for 6 months starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Interim UK-qualified lawyer with strong fund distribution and retail funds experience to join a high-performing legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on the distribution of UCITS, UK UCITS, AIFs, and private funds across the UK, EU, EEA, and APAC.
• Act as the primary contact for distribution matters, supporting client service teams in the UK and Luxembourg.
• Maintain and advise on jurisdiction-specific distribution agreements and regulatory frameworks.
• Navigate key regulatory requirements, including inducement rules, Consumer Duty, private placement, and CSSF Circular 18/698.
• Flexibility to support other fund and regulatory matters as needed.

About You:

• UK-qualified lawyer from a leading law firm or in-house role within asset management.
• Strong understanding of fund distribution, investment management, and regulatory frameworks.
• Commercially minded, collaborative, and able to hit the ground running.

This contract will ASAP and is expected to run for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential to extend.
