As a Key Account Executive (KAE), you will support the Key Account Controller (KAC) and Key Account Manager (KAM) in delivering the commercial strategy for one of our key wholesale and retail partners. The objective is to execute the business plan effectively while exceeding set commercial targets and KPIs.
What You'll Do
Customer Management
Support the KAC and KAM in presenting products and strategic plans to a major wholesale and convenience retail customer.
Manage all associated customer administration, including promotional proposals, invoicing, and debt tracking.
Execution
Work alongside the KAC and KAM to execute the agreed commercial plan, maximising brand presence and impact in-store.
Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure consistent stock availability.
Collaborate closely with the field sales team to identify any in-store challenges or opportunities at fixture level.
Financial Management
Contribute to the development of an annual account plan aligned to volume, sales, and profitability targets.
Forecast volume and commercial spend in line with customer activity and the broader commercial calendar.
Track monthly, quarterly, and annual performance against volume, net sales, and gross profit targets.
Manage customer invoicing and spend actualisation to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
Conduct monthly performance reviews, comparing results to plan and previous year benchmarks.

What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in a sales-related or commercial environment.
Strong understanding of the relationship between account managers and retail buyers.
Experience in building customer relationships, ideally in a field-based sales role.
A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with a tenacious approach to driving growth.
Strong financial and commercial acumen to develop sound, strategic proposals.
Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with business systems and tools.
