I am currently working with an established international bank, based in London, who are looking for an experienced Operations Officer to join their high performing operations function. As Operations Officer, you will play a vital part in ensuring seamless transactional processing, client support, and risk management, while also contributing to exciting project initiatives like ISO20022 migration and e-banking development. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle international and domestic payments (MT1xx, MT2xx, ISO20022)
- Monitor real-time balances and manage queues for smooth payment flows
- Deliver customer support on payment queries and balance enquiries
- Case management for held or returned funds and AML investigations
- Produce insightful management information and participant account reporting
- Execute project support activities including UAT and system testing
- Collaborate with HO teams and internal stakeholders to ensure process compliance
- Champion internal controls and support conduct risk management
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in international payments and central cash clearing (essential)
- Proficient in SWIFT, MS Office and operational cash handling
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage time under pressure
