Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Audit & Assurance Senior Manager to join our client in Manchester. With multiple offices across the region, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, overseeing the planning, prioritisation, and allocation of client work while ensuring smooth team workflow. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for Audit & Assurance Directors and Partners, manage client relationships, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the planning, prioritisation, and allocation of client work to ensure smooth team workflow and effective task management.
  • Securing client agreement on the scope of work and communicating estimated fees in advance to optimise fee recovery.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Audit & Assurance Directors and Partners, coordinating the wider Manager team.
  • Ensuring sufficient availability for client interactions, as well as communication with firm personnel and external stakeholders.
  • Building and nurturing a network of business partners and intermediaries to enhance the firm's market presence and generate referral opportunities.

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • UK practice experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant UK taxes, including Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, etc., to ensure accurate presentation in financial statements.
  • In-depth understanding and practical experience with the International Standards on Auditing (UK and Ireland)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled at prioritising tasks under tight deadlines and thriving under pressure.
  • Proactive with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
