We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Associate to join our client's team based in Manchester. As part of our client's national and growing regional team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals and advise clients operating in various sectors on a diverse range of corporate matters, with a primary focus on private company mergers and acquisitions.
In this role, you will provide expert advice on a wide range of corporate transactions, including private company acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations. You will have the opportunity to work on complex joint ventures, structure corporate entities, and provide guidance on corporate governance matters. Your role will also involve advising clients on day-to-day corporate queries and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
- Advising on private company acquisitions and disposals, including both share and business/asset deals.
- Providing guidance on private company reorganisations, intra-group transfers, and succession planning/exits.
- Assisting in setting up corporate structures, preparing shareholder agreements/investment agreements, and advising on structuring and investment arrangements.
- Providing expert advice on joint ventures and general corporate matters, including share buybacks, distributions, and corporate governance.
- Handling ad hoc day-to-day corporate queries from our clients.
- Initiating, building, and maintaining effective client relationships.
- Proactively participating in department and firm-wide marketing initiatives.

- Directly relevant post-qualification experience gained at a recognised and busy corporate practise.
