The Role
This position combines technical expertise with commercial acumen. You'll take ownership of corporate tax compliance while also contributing to advisory projects on restructuring, R&D tax reliefs, and international matters. The role is suited to someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and taking initiative to spot opportunities for tax planning and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate tax compliance for a diverse client base, ensuring deadlines and standards are consistently met.
- Deliver high-quality advisory support on corporate structuring, R&D tax claims, and transactional tax.
- Identify and implement tax planning opportunities, working alongside Partners and the wider advisory team.
- Develop and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their technical development and workflow management.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and departmental growth initiatives.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
- Solid background in corporate tax compliance and advisory within a practice environment.
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Confident managing your own portfolio and overseeing junior team members.
- Self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to thrive in a collaborative setting.
