In House Construction Solicitor

LHH are pleased to be supporting a leading multi-disciplinary construction and property company with a purpose-driven culture in their search for an experienced Construction Solicitor. Following sustained growth, attributed to their unique business model, they are now seeking to add to the in-house team with this key appointment.

This role will be non-contentious in nature, and key responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert guidance on NEC contracts, managing risk and compliance throughout. This will include working closely with project teams to ensure a smooth execution process.
• Drafting and negotiating collateral warranties, including liaising with external parties where relevant.
• Leading the negotiating of bond documentation, incl. handling specific agreements related to highway and drainage works, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and protecting the company's interests throughout.
• Working closely with internal teams, incl. project managers and senior management, to support business objectives, anticipate risk and offer commercially-balanced advice.

In terms of working arrangements, our client are offering a hybrid working model. The remuneration package for this role is commensurate with market rate, with a comprehensive benefits and a supportive working environment.
