Job Advert: Interim In-House Construction Solicitor

Are you a talented and experienced Construction Solicitor looking for your next challenge? Our client, a prominent and forward-thinking organisation in the construction industry, is seeking an Interim In-House Construction Solicitor to join their team for an initial period of 3 months.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of construction contracts, with a particular focus on NEC contracts.
• Drafting, negotiating and completing bond documentation including highway and drainage agreements
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legal standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years of experience in construction law.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and other industry-standard contracts.
• Proven track record in providing legal advice and support to construction projects.
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously, managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
