Are you an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE? If you're passionate about your career and eager to develop both personally and professionally, we want to hear from you. Our client is entering an exciting growth phase and seeks a talented individual, ideally with ties to the Thames Valley, to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will have the opportunity to provide clear, user-friendly legal advice to a diverse range of clients. This role is designed for someone who is not only looking to advance their own career but is also keen to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer up-to-date property legal advice tailored to client needs.
- Deepen your understanding of client industries to enhance commercial awareness.
- Promote the firm's services and bolster its reputation in the market.
- Identify and pursue profitable growth opportunities.
- Support and mentor less experienced team members, fostering their development.
- Engage actively within the team and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.
- Develop strong, lasting client relationships and participate in business development efforts.
- Engage in marketing activities, including presentations, article writing, and networking events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent, with A/B grades at A-Level.
- A strong academic record demonstrating consistent achievement.
- Proficient in IT, including Word, Outlook, and TFB or similar software.
- Experience in general commercial property work, such as property development, investment property transactions, lease agreements, and general management tasks. Exposure to a variety of clients, including SMEs, large corporates, charities, and public-sector organisations, is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential property is a plus, though the role will primarily focus on commercial matters.
- Exceptional drafting and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to produce clear written advice and communicate effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and the capability to provide practical, commercial advice.
