Are you a dedicated Family Solicitor looking for your next challenge? Our client, a well-respected firm with a thriving Family Law team, is seeking a passionate and ambitious Solicitor to join their ranks. If you have between 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law and a drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you.


Role Overview:


As a Family Solicitor, you will report directly to the Family Partner and take charge of managing your own client base. You will inherit an existing caseload while actively contributing to the development and growth of the department. This is an opportunity to engage with high net worth clients and complex cases, showcasing your expertise in family law.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a diverse portfolio of family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, and children matters.
  • Develop and promote proactive family agreements, such as nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
  • Play an active role in business development to attract new clients and expand the firm's reach.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of private family law.
  • Uphold the firm's commitment to exceptional client service and satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years PQE in family law, with experience in handling your own caseload.
  • Proven track record of working with high net worth clients and managing complex legal matters.
  • Membership with Resolution is preferred, highlighting your commitment to constructive and modern approaches to family law.
  • Experience or training in mediation or collaborative law is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, along with experience using case management systems.
