An exciting opportunity has emerged within our client's residential property litigation sub-team for a specialist Landlord and Tenant Solicitor. If you are passionate about property law and eager to tackle complex challenges, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Property Litigation Associate, you will:
- Advise on service charge matters, including interpreting service charge clauses in long leases, handling s20 consultations, and s27A proceedings before the First Tier Tribunal.
- Provide guidance on the interpretation and breaches of covenants in long residential leases, including seeking forfeiture.
- Manage all forms of leasehold enfranchisement, including Tribunal proceedings, with experience in notice projects from start to finish.
- Advise on statutory and voluntary lease extensions.
- Act in matters pertaining to Right to Manage companies.
- Ideally, have experience advising on short-form residential tenancy matters, especially AST possession claims.
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and Party Wall Act is desirable.

- Dilapidations

- Lease renewals
- Possession claims
- Service charge issues
- Property-related insolvency
