Job Title: Property Litigation Associate

An exciting opportunity has emerged within our client's residential property litigation sub-team for a specialist Landlord and Tenant Solicitor. If you are passionate about property law and eager to tackle complex challenges, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:


As a Property Litigation Associate, you will:


  • Advise on service charge matters, including interpreting service charge clauses in long leases, handling s20 consultations, and s27A proceedings before the First Tier Tribunal.
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and breaches of covenants in long residential leases, including seeking forfeiture.
  • Manage all forms of leasehold enfranchisement, including Tribunal proceedings, with experience in notice projects from start to finish.
  • Advise on statutory and voluntary lease extensions.
  • Act in matters pertaining to Right to Manage companies.
  • Ideally, have experience advising on short-form residential tenancy matters, especially AST possession claims.
  • Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and Party Wall Act is desirable.

  • Break notices
  • Dilapidations
  • Forfeiture
  • Land registration disputes
  • Lease renewals
  • Possession claims
  • Service charge issues
  • Property-related insolvency
