About The Job:
As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will have the exciting opportunity to support the preparation of analytical reports for internal management and external reports to auditors. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Consolidating a Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis to facilitate the year-end process and reconciliation.
- Providing support to the budgeting and forecast function.
- Building strong relationships with various departments on items of a capital nature.
- Accurately processing and monitoring additions and disposals.
- Ensuring documentation is in place for audit sampling and mitigating risk.
- Proactively addressing ad hoc requests.
The skills and experience to help you excel in this role:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified.
- Experience in the transacting and controlling of all aspects of fixed assets.
- Strong understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
- Knowledge of finance system management and internal control.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proactive and positive approach to tasks.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK from your first day of employment.
