LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a company in Albuquerque who is in search of a temporary AP clerk. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and is expected to last 3-5 months. The hourly rate is up to $23/hr.

Responsibilities:- Process and verify invoices for payment in an accurate and timely manner.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper documentation.
- Enter invoices and payment information into accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred).
- Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
- Assist with reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure all details are up to date.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any issues regarding payments.
- Assist in month-end closing activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or higher in Accounting or related field preferred).
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Sage Intacct experience is preferred for invoice and payment processing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
