LHH is partnering with a New Mexico–based organization to hire a Director of Cybersecurity & Information Security.
We’re seeking an experienced cybersecurity leader to build, mature, and oversee a full enterprise security program. This is a high-impact, full-time, on-site leadership role supporting a growing financial-services environment.
Role: Director of Cybersecurity & Information Security
Location: Albuquerque, NM (on-site role)

What You’ll Lead:
• Development and execution of the organization’s cybersecurity strategy
• Governance, compliance, and regulatory alignment (NCUA/FFIEC/GLBA/NIST CSF)
• Security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Cyber risk integration with enterprise risk management
• Cross-functional partnership with IT, Risk, Compliance, and executive leadership
• Security awareness, culture-building, and organization-wide education
What We’re Looking For:
• 7+ years in cybersecurity or IT leadership
• Experience building or maturing an enterprise cyber program
• Strong knowledge of financial-sector regulations
• Proven ability to lead through influence across departments
• Bachelor’s in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field required
• CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar certifications strongly preferred
• Financial services/credit union experience is a major plus
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a cybersecurity program end-to-end within a high-trust, mission-driven organization.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
