Human Resources Generalist


Location: Hybrid

Allentown, PA


About the Role:


This hybrid role requires in-office 3 days a week and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across key HR functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry, with expertise in payroll, benefits, leaves of absence, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, and talent acquisition.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment and employee inquiries
  • Handle leaves of absence, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to enhance employee experience
  • Support talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring

Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in payroll, benefits administration, and leave management
  • Strong background in employee relations and talent acquisition
  • Union experience is a plus
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
