Human Resources Generalist
Location: Hybrid
Allentown, PA
About the Role:
This hybrid role requires in-office 3 days a week and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across key HR functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry, with expertise in payroll, benefits, leaves of absence, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, and talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment and employee inquiries
- Handle leaves of absence, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to enhance employee experience
- Support talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in payroll, benefits administration, and leave management
- Strong background in employee relations and talent acquisition
- Union experience is a plus
- Spanish fluency is a plus
