Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: In-office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24–$29 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional with strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative office duties

  • Prepare, sort, and distribute mail; handle FedEx/UPS/courier shipments and certified mail

  • Stock and maintain kitchen/pantry daily; order lunches as needed

  • Greet guests and manage conference room bookings and clean-up

  • Scan client documents and assist with new ID/access badge setup

  • Log incoming checks and maintain accurate records

  • Process, assemble, and send tax returns and financial statements to clients

  • Draft and proof engagement letters

  • Perform a variety of administrative and coordinator duties, including confidential tasks

  • Support office operations and assist team members as needed

Basic Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • three or more years of administrative experience required

  • Experience in a professional services environment preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor

  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and external clients

  • Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset



Pay Details: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour
