HR Specialist – Baltimore, MD
Our client in Baltimore, MD is seeking a skilled and adaptable HR Specialist for an upcoming temporary assignment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in human resources who can step in quickly to support key HR functions and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
About the Role
As the HR Specialist, you will provide hands-on support across multiple HR areas including onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration. You’ll work closely with HR leadership to ensure smooth operations and a positive employee experience during a critical transition period.
Key Responsibilities
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and orientation
Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems
Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
Support compliance tracking and reporting
Coordinate employee communications and engagement initiatives
Assist with performance review logistics and documentation
Provide general support for HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in human resources or a related field
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
