  • Support brand management initiatives and collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing and business teams

  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies related to advertising and marketing

  • Manage outside counsel as needed and provide practical, business‑focused risk assessments

Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

  • Admission in good standing to a U.S. state bar (California preferred)

  • Mandatory experience with FTC regulations related to advertising, media, and marketing

  • Mandatory FDA regulatory experience within the food & beverage industry

  • Prior in‑house legal experience strongly preferred

  • Proactive, self‑directed work style (ability to identify and take ownership of work without waiting for assignment)

Additional Details

  • Schedule: Part‑Time (approximately 10–20 hours per week)

    • Fully remote, but must be comfortable working with teams across time zones

    • Candidates are asked to commit to at least 6 months; longer engagements are common

    • Two weeks’ notice requested if a permanent role is secured during the engagement

  • Location: Fully Remote (must be flexible working with multiple time zones)

  • Engagement Type: Long‑Term Contract (6‑month commitment requested)

  • Pay Rate: $100–$115/hour
