LHH Recruitment is seeking an Office Support Specialist for a client in Boca Raton, FL. If you have couple years of experience supporting office operations, including the responsibilities below, please let me know if you are interested!
Work type: Contract to hire, full time, onsite, M-F 8:30-5:00
Compensation: $17-18/hr
Responsibilities
Maintain and restock kitchen, conference rooms, and common areas (paper goods, beverages, coffee stations, etc.); notify Office Manager when inventory is low.
Support meeting setup, including catering preparation and ensuring supplies are available.
Clean and reset meeting rooms by removing food, trash, and wiping surfaces.
Prepare desks for new hires, including clearing old items and setting up company materials.
Assist with inventory management of office supplies and submit needs to the receptionist for ordering.
Support mail processing: metering outgoing mail, sorting, scanning, and distributing incoming mail.
Serve as backup receptionist during lunches, breaks, and PTO.
Learn and follow front-desk policies and procedures.
Prepare outgoing FedEx, USPS, and UPS shipments; receive and process delivered packages.
Identify office maintenance needs (e.g., bulb replacements) and report to receptionist.
Assist various departments with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a service-oriented role preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to new and changing priorities.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
