Job Summary:
LHH is currently recruiting for a law firm in the Charlotte area. The firm is seeking a Estate & Wealth Planning Paralegal. This role focuses on estate administration, preparation of gift and estate tax returns, and supporting various team projects. The position offers the opportunity to work with high net worth individuals and collaborate closely with attorneys and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and draft documents related to estate and trust administration, including federal estate and gift tax returns, probate filings, and estate accountings
Review, proofread, revise, and organize legal documents for estate and trust matters
Schedule and participate in meetings or conferences with clients
Provide analysis and input on strategy development for estate planning and administration
Prepare court filings and other related documents
Maintain compliance with ethical standards and professional conduct
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience in estate administration, including preparation of complex federal estate and gift tax returns for high net worth clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently on multiple matters and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant legal documentation
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
