Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite – near Chinatown)
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Standard business hours
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support day-to-day human resources operations for a growing organization near Chicago’s Chinatown area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone who can start immediately and is interested in long-term growth within HR.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support across HR functions, including onboarding and employee records
Assist with new hire paperwork, background checks, and I?9 documentation
Maintain accurate employee files and HR data in internal systems
Support payroll and benefits administration by preparing and verifying employee information
Respond to employee questions and route inquiries appropriately
Assist with compliance tracking, audits, and HR reporting
Support HR team with general administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Prior experience in an HR Administrative, HR Coordinator, or related role
Working knowledge of HR processes such as onboarding, employee documentation, and payroll support
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
Must be available to start ASAP
