- Manage docketing and patent prosecution for global client portfolios
- Prepare and file patent applications with the USPTO, WIPO, and international authorities
- Handle a variety of filings, including:
- Provisional & Non-Provisional Applications
- PCT & U.S. National Stage Filings
- Design & Track 1 Applications
- Convention Filings
- Prepare and file key prosecution documents (IDS, Office Action responses, Issue Fee Transmittals, etc.)
- Review and analyze correspondence from USPTO, WIPO, and international counsel
- Maintain and update IDS charts, docket systems, and client portfolio reports
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and international agents on deadlines and filings
- Manage case files, document systems, and client portals
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Support project management across multiple high-level IP matters
- Strong knowledge of USPTO, PCT, and international patent procedures
- Experience with ePCT filings
- Familiarity with chemical formulas and sequence listings
- Advanced docketing and deadline management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe)
- 5+ years of IP patent paralegal experience
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical and/or university portfolios
- Docketing experience required (CPi preferred)
- Paralegal Certificate required
- Salary range: $110,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)
