In the position of Data Retention System Administrator II, you will implement, maintain, and support global system environments across multiple locations and countries. Responsible for configuring server hardware, software, and storage to meet our global business needs. Serve as a senior point of contact for systems support teams, network users, and other business units for technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain 600+ Windows Servers (2016 and newer) and 120+ SUSE Linux Servers (SLES 12 & 15)
Perform patching, monitoring, and compliance aligned with SLAs
Manage and upgrade vCenter 7+ with 40+ ESXi hosts
Administer Omnissa Horizon VDI pools and Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 incidents
Leverage or develop tools for administration, root cause analysis, and service restoration
Maintain detailed SOPs to support security and operational standards
Manage and upgrade DELL EMC Unity storage arrays
Partner with development, security, and project teams to implement new services
Build automation scripts and tools to scale system operations
Required Qualifications
7+ years supporting Microsoft enterprise technologies (Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS, file/print services)
5+ years administering and troubleshooting SUSE Linux (SLES 12/15) environments
Strong experience managing VMWare hypervisors (vCenter, ESXi), preferably on Cisco UCS hardware
Solid experience managing DELL EMC SAN/Unity storage systems
Scripting expertise with PowerShell
Experience with Omnissa/VMware Horizon virtual desktop environments
Ability to perform root cause analysis, backups/restores, log interpretation, and performance tuning
Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience developing automation tools and scaling enterprise operations
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks or ITIL Certification preferred
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
