Title: System Administrator
In this role, you will be responsible for managing user accounts and access permissions across a variety of business systems, ensuring that each team member has the appropriate level of access to perform their duties effectively. You will collaborate with different business units to support their access needs, handle daily access management tasks, troubleshoot issues, and lead projects related to access controls. Your responsibilities will include maintaining program documentation, reviewing security reports, training new users, and adapting access controls to meet the changing requirements of the organization. This position requires a proactive approach to supporting the digital infrastructure and contributing to the ongoing success of the business in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field of study
Required: 2+ years of experience in system administration, access management
Required: 3-5 years of experience in managing operating systems, databases, and network configurations.
Nice to have: Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
Computer Skills Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts within several business systems used throughout the organization (Salesforce, VIP iDig/SRS, and Salient). This includes the data these users can access.
Work closely with the business to ensure that individuals within the organization are granted the appropriate level of access to resources. This collaboration helps maintain the balance between security and operational efficiency.
Administer access management daily, this involves the routine management of the identity and access management system, including tasks like user provisioning, deprovisioning, and more.
Troubleshoot and resolve access management issues when problems or issues related to identity and access management occur. System Administrator initiates due diligence to troubleshoot and resolve these issues promptly to minimize disruption.
Actively participate in access management related projects and initiatives, such as implementing new security measures, integrating systems, or enhancing access control processes.
Maintain access management standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation, detailed documentation of the access management for each system of responsibility. This documentation helps in ensuring compliance, making audits more efficient.
Regularly review access reports to identify potential risks or violations. This proactive approach helps maintain a secure access environment and minimizes the risk of unauthorized access.
Educate new users within the department on how to perform the functions of access management effectively. This training includes educating the business to ensure users understand how to request, access, and manage their permissions.
Responsible for adjusting the access management accordingly to the changing business needs. Align access controls with changing roles and requirements to ensure that access remains appropriate and secure.
