LHH is partnering with a client in the Downey area in hiring a Compensation and Benefits Manager to join a great team of HR Professionals!


This manager will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing employee benefits programs. The roles focus will be on ensuring that the company’s benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the well-being of the team.


This role is 100% on -site.


Your Job:



  • Collaborate with external vendors to design and administer competitive and compliant benefit programs.


  • Oversee benefit enrollment processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and eligibility compliance in the HRIS.


  • Act as the primary contact for third-party administrators, addressing benefit inquiries and resolving administrative issues promptly.


  • Maintain employee benefit files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in record-keeping.


  • Manage leave of absence requests, staying informed on FMLA and ADA implications.


  • Stay abreast of the latest benefit-related laws, regulations, and trends, conducting research and analysis as needed.


  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive employee wellness program.


Your Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred.


  • Experience supporting employee benefits for organizations with 2000+ employees.


  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in benefits management.


Your Knowedge and Skills:



  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to employee benefits.


  • Experience with HRIS and proficiency in benefit administration.


  • Excellent communication skills to educate and inform staff about benefit offerings.


  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with benefits vendors.


  • Excellent Excel skills


Salary: $100k-$120k
