Family Law Paralegal
LHH is assisting a well‑established family law practice in its search for a Family Law Paralegal to support a busy, client‑focused legal team.
This role sits at the heart of the firm’s day‑to‑day practice and partners closely with attorneys on case management, document preparation, legal research, and direct client communication across a wide range of family law matters. This opportunity is in Encino, Ca and is fully in office
About this opportunity:
The Family Law Paralegal will support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support cases. Responsibilities include:
Serving as the first point of contact for prospective and current clients via phone and email
Conducting client intake with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as petitions, motions, and discovery
Assisting with family law matters including divorce, prenuptial agreements, child custody, and support
Maintaining clear and consistent communication with attorneys and internal team members regarding case status
Preparing trial binders, exhibits, and materials for court appearances
Proactively identifying and resolving issues to support efficient case progression
Providing administrative and operational support to the legal team as needed
Meaningful client‑facing role with responsibility from the first point of contact
Stable, full‑time position with long‑term potential
Compensation & Benefits Snapshot
Base salary range: $80,000 to $110,000 annually; DOE
Full‑time position

Candidate Requirements
At least 4 years of paralegal experience
Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience
Prior experience in family law strongly preferred
Willingness to support as a Legal Assistant if needed
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammar
Client‑focused, polished, and professional demeanor
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
