Position: Project Manager or Jr. Project Manager
Salary: 50k-90k depending on experience

Overview
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Project Management team in coordinating all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, procurement, and communication with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Review project plans and specifications to fully understand the scope of work.
Assist the Project Manager in developing detailed scopes of work and preparing cost breakdowns for vendor and supplier negotiations.
Support the Project Manager in establishing material lead times to ensure timely procurement and execution by subcontractors.
Research alternative materials or methods when lead times or costs impact the project schedule.
Contribute to the development of the project’s Bill of Assembly (detailed cost estimate by building system).
Assist in processing purchase orders and contracts, ensuring all necessary exhibits and attachments are included.
Update and distribute the project schedule weekly, as developed by the Project Manager and Field Superintendent.
Administer subcontractor requirements and submittals, maintaining compliance with contract terms and updating the submittal log.
Upload and maintain all project documentation on the company’s cloud-based file management system for access by field and design teams.
Record and distribute meeting minutes for project and field coordination meetings.
Review subcontractor and vendor invoices to ensure consistency with contract terms and notify the Project Manager and Accounting team of discrepancies.
Support the Accounting team in verifying contract and insurance compliance.
Assist in assembling requisition packages by gathering necessary documentation from subcontractors and vendors.
Serve as the Project Manager’s right hand to help achieve project goals and ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
Experience in construction or a degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
Associate degree or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or Assistant Project Manager roles.
Solid understanding of standard construction terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
