LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Director for a direct hire position in West Houston, TX. Position: HR Director Type: Direct Hire Location: 100% onsite, Houston, Texas Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 annually DOE Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am - 5 pm Position Overview: The HR Director will lead the HR department and ensure the development and execution of human resources strategies that align with the company's business objectives. The role will be instrumental in managing HR operations, fostering a positive company culture, and driving employee engagement and satisfaction while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization’s goals.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection to ensure the acquisition of top talent.
  • Manage and improve employee onboarding, training, and professional development programs.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with labor laws, employment standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Lead the creation and monitoring of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and positive company culture.
  • Oversee performance management processes to ensure the development of high-performing teams.
  • Administer compensation, benefits programs, and maintain payroll accuracy.
  • Assess and identify training needs to optimize employee performance.
  • Collaborate with management to provide strategic HR insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all HR practices and policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Director, ideally with a focus on organizational leadership.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, databases, and modern HR technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
