Payroll/Accounting Coordinator
Location: Irvine
Legal Industry – Direct Hire
Compensation: $55,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)
Open to candidates who are experienced payroll professional with some accounting experience
A well-established law firm is seeking an Accounting & Payroll Coordinator to support both payroll administration and core accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and organized, who can balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time and requires working onsite four days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain employee records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation adjustments.
Review and verify timesheets, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Provide support with benefits administration, including employee enrollments, updates, and inquiries.
Assist the accounting team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions.
Prepare invoices, monitor collections, and handle vendor communications.
Support billing processes, including prebills, adjustments, and reporting.
Respond to accounting and payroll-related inquiries professionally and promptly.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of payroll experience (ADP Workforce Now experience a plus).
At least 2 years of general accounting experience, including A/P and A/R.
Prior law firm billing experience preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working with all levels of staff.
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
