Property Accountant

LHH has partnered with a Real Estate company that is looking to add to their team for a Property Accountant. This role will be fully onsite in the Kansas City Metro.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Operations:
Process remote check deposits and maintain cash receipts records.
Update accounts receivable for various divisions.
Review checks and upload vendor invoices for payment, adding GL coding as needed.
Issue weekly checks, verifying various payment methods and matching in-house checks with invoices.
Enter tenant lease information and calculate additional rents or CAM charges.
Handle accounts payable functions, including GL coding, invoice entry, cash balance review, and bank adjustments.
Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules, and prepare financial statements accordingly.
Manage job costs for tenant improvements and review construction management fees.
Prepare and maintain cash flow statements, adjusting for budget differences.
Maintain general ledgers and prepare monthly financial statements and related schedules.
Charge tenants for direct expenses not included in CAM and review delinquency reports for accurate late charges.
Review property management and asset management fees for accuracy.
Prepare bank fee allocation spreadsheets and move-out reconciliations for tenants.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Accounting/Finance required
Experience with commercial real estate accounting
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with Yard, and Sage Software
Salary: $55,000 - $70,000
