Payroll Specialist / HR Generalist
📍 Full-Time | Biweekly Payroll for ~200 Employees
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist / HR Generalist to join our team and play a key role in managing payroll operations and supporting day-to-day HR functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing payroll accuracy with employee support and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The right candidate will oversee full-cycle payroll processing for approximately 200 employees on a biweekly basis, while also assisting with HR administration including PTO tracking, benefits support, and employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
Process biweekly full-cycle payroll for approximately 200 employees using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN)
Ensure accurate payroll calculations including wages, deductions, and adjustments
Maintain payroll records and audit data for compliance and accuracy
Perform general ledger entries and journal updates related to payroll transactions
Reconcile payroll reports and ensure proper documentation
HR Generalist Support
Monitor and manage employee PTO balances and accruals
Update employee deductions and benefits within the payroll system
Monitor and respond to the HR inbox, addressing employee questions and requests
Assist with open enrollment processes and benefits administration
Support employee relations tasks and HR documentation
Required Qualifications
Experience using ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience managing full-cycle payroll processing
Knowledge of general ledger and journal entries related to payroll
Experience tracking and monitoring PTO balances
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain payroll accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working independently with employee relations matters
Familiarity with benefits administration and open enrollment processes
Prior experience in a Payroll Specialist, HR Generalist, Payroll Coordinator, HR Assistant, or HR Specialist role
