LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Cost Analyst to join a dynamic and growing manufacturer. This role involves working directly with the CFO to understand true margins and develop a comprehensive cost system. Senior Cost Analyst Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with the CFO to analyze and understand true margins, and help build out a robust cost system.
· Monitor and analyze inventory levels, stock movements, and trends to ensure optimal inventory management.
· Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and tools.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance costing platforms.
· Update base costs on all BOMs annually, with quarterly reviews for necessary adjustments.
· Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
· Generate and analyze cost reports to provide insights on stock performance and efficiency.
· Support demand forecasting efforts and assist in planning for future inventory needs.
· Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years cost accounting and inventory management experience.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
