Corporate Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Surprise, AZ (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility)
Pay: $25 – $27 per hour DOE

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a strong background in high-volume, fast-paced corporate environments. This role requires someone highly detail-oriented who is comfortable shifting priorities and jumping between tasks as directed by the Financial Manager.

This position supports a structured, high-workload accounting environment. Candidates coming strictly from small-office settings may find the volume and pace challenging.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently

  • Perform 3-way matching and ensure proper coding

  • Handle multi-entity and multi-currency transactions

  • Prepare and process 1099s

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

  • Support month-end close activities related to AP

  • Work within structured approval workflows

  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies

  • Partner cross-functionally with accounting and finance teams

  • Utilize Excel for reporting and reconciliations (PivotTables and VLOOKUP required)

  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and tasks assigned by the Financial Manager


Required Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a large corporate or high-volume environment

  • Must have high-volume AP experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency processing

  • 1099 processing experience

  • 3-way matching experience

  • Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP

  • Experience working in larger companies (candidates with small-company-only backgrounds may struggle with workload)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Concur experience

  • Some college coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience working for a publicly traded company



Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
