Advertising Sales Representative - Remote

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Representative to join our clients team. This role involves a combination of proactive outreach to businesses for advertising opportunities in magazines and at tradeshows, as well as responding to incoming inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Follow up via email and phone calls with leads to discuss advertising opportunities and send out advertising plans.
Cold call businesses to introduce our advertising services and generate new leads.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative advertising solutions tailored to clients' needs.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in advertising or media communications.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Availability to travel for tradeshows or client meetings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience selling media communications, including digital ads, print media, etc.
Familiarity with advertising industry trends and best practices.
Experience working with advertising agencies or media companies.
Salary: $45K + Commission + Monthly stipend

Location: Remote but must live in the Los Angeles, CA area
