LHH is proud to partner with a prestigious law firm in search of a Conflicts Administrator—a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for legal operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a team that values integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
As a Conflicts Administrator, you’ll be the gatekeeper of ethical compliance, ensuring that new business relationships align with legal standards and firm policies. You’ll:
Lead conflict checks and analyze complex business relationships for potential legal conflicts.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve issues and maintain database integrity.
Mentor junior team members and assist with onboarding and training across offices.
Support lateral attorney onboarding with conflict analysis.
Be available for urgent conflict reviews on a rotating after-hours schedule.
Research & Reporting
Conduct deep-dive research using tools like Mergent, SEC Filings, Lexis, and Westlaw.
Generate and interpret conflict reports, highlighting key issues for attorney review.
Assist leadership with special projects and policy enhancements.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required; research or business-related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in legal conflicts, research, or paralegal work.
Supervisory experience in a law firm setting is a plus.
Mastery of Intapp Open (or similar workflow tools), Excel, and document management systems.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage high-volume workflows and make sound decisions independently.
Compensation
Salary Range (Los Angeles): $99,000 – $149,000 annually
Final offer will reflect experience, education, certifications, and overall qualifications.
Medical Insurance: Choice of two high-deductible health plans (with Health Savings Account option), coverage starts on your first day. Provided through CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield.
Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account & Flexible Spending Accounts
Commuter Benefits, Voluntary Insurance, Annual Leave 4 weeks in year one, 5 weeks after one year, 6 weeks after five years. Includes personal, sick, and vacation days.
Holidays: 10 firm holidays plus one floating holiday.
