Technical Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities:
· Serve as a Key Account Manager handling multiple blue-chip Fortune 500 customers in the automotive, lawn and garden, medical, aerospace and telecommunications industries
· Act as the engineering liaison to coordinate with other departments to assure all aspects of the customer experience is handled flawlessly, including Quoting, Technical Support, Order Entry and Inventory Planning
· Responsible for incoming technical product calls for orders, availability, quotes, pricing and technical inquiries.
· Process orders, forms, applications and requests.
· Work as a liaison between sales, manufacturing and shipping on a daily basis.
· Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information, keeping records of customer interactions and running reports
Requirements:
· BA or BS Degree Preferred but not required
· Manufacturing Engineering Major Highly Preferred
· Technical competencies for dealing with automotive mechanical parts
· Experience with fasteners or similar related products and industries
· Minimum relative experience needed is 3 years
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to work closely with Inside and Outside Sales Team to assure 100% customer satisfaction
· Advanced Proficiency needed in Large ERP or MES
· Advanced Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
