LHH Recruitment is partnering with a Construction company in Mesa, AZ that is looking for a Utility Services Coordinator to join the team. This is a full-time onsite position with benefits including an annual bonus based on company performance. Salary range is $65,000-$75,000 depending on experience.
The Commercial & Residential Utility Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating utility-related services for residential and commercial properties, including new service connections, transfers, disconnections, and ongoing utility support. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, utility providers, municipalities, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant utility services throughout the property lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate utility services for residential and commercial properties, including electric, gas, water, sewer, telecom, and other related services
- Initiate, schedule, transfer, disconnect, and reconnect utility services for new construction, renovations, tenant move-ins/move-outs, and property transitions
- Act as the point of contact between customers, utility providers, municipalities, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Track utility requests and service orders to ensure deadlines are met and issues are resolved promptly
- Verify service availability, capacity, permits, and requirements with local utility authorities
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on applications, permits, and documentation required for utility services
- Maintain accurate records of utility accounts, service statuses, billing information, and service confirmations
- Assist with utility billing coordination, dispute resolution, and account corrections as needed
- Communicate service timelines, updates, and expectations clearly to customers and internal teams
- Identify and escalate service delays, outages, or compliance issues to appropriate parties
- Ensure all utility coordination activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Support special projects related to utility planning, infrastructure upgrades, or large-scale developments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in utility coordination
- Experience working with residential and/or commercial utility providers strongly preferred
- Knowledge of utility service processes, permitting, and municipal requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
