Pay – 70,000 to 90,000


About Us:


We are seeking a dedicated Contract Administrator to manage and oversee construction contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications and minimizing potential risks. Join our client’s dynamic team committed to excellence in the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities:


Contract Management: Coordinate and administer construction contracts, ensuring adherence to all contractual obligations and project requirements.


Bid Documentation: Prepare, compile, and validate bid documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission.


Project Contract Management: Oversee the completion, review, and validation of project contracts, obtaining necessary signatures for approval.


Purchase Orders and Subcontracts: Process, finalize, and obtain signatures for purchase orders and subcontract agreements.


Insurance and Bonds: Manage Certificates of Insurance and bonds for clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.


Prequalification: Secure prequalification from clients to meet project specifications.


Vendor and Customer Documentation: Collect and organize new vendor and customer documentation for project initiation.


Project Closeout: Process waivers, affidavits, and other required documentation for project closure, collaborating with subcontractors and vendors as needed.


Document Management: Upload completed documents to our designated storage application.


Communication: Attend weekly meetings to provide updates on contract administration and liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.


Skills and Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field.


Experience: 2-4 years of experience in construction administration, preferably in civil environments such as paving, grading, structures, or heavy highways.


Knowledge: Understanding of construction laws, insurance, bonding, and indemnification.


Organizational Skills: Effective planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.


Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues.


Adaptability: Flexibility to handle interruptions, shift priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision.


Physical Requirements:


Work Environment: Hybrid work schedule with both office and remote work options available.


Office Equipment: Proficiency in using computers, copy machines, telephones, and fax machines.


Site Visits: Occasional visits to construction sites may be required.


Weather Conditions: Exposure to variable weather conditions during site visits, including rain, extreme cold, and heat.
